Vancouver Friday morning

Sunsuckers in their sexy see through raincoats installed at the VanDusen Botanical Garden.

I set up the Sunsucker installation today. As I was taking them out of the crate they started working even though there were some clouds blocking the sun. It was great to set them up outside in the garden. While I was 'gardening' curious folks kept asking questions. This was a good sign. Our group is basically invading the garden with odd electronic devices, robots, and strange machines so the early positive feedback while setting up felt good. The staff has been wonderfully positive and very accommodating. I've never had a chance to install them outside so the coming week is going to be very interesting observing the reactions of garden enthusiasts and hardcore gardeners to all our work. When the Sunsuckers were all set up they worked wonderfully!
