Vancouver

Two days in Vancouver. Lots of blooming flowers and trees. I was there to attend the opening of Signal and Noise where my video loop installation Endless Kiss was presented. And I visited with many of my best friends. Then jetted home for the presentation of The Art of Displacement by Trip Dance of which I did the soundtrack for.

My solar powered audio installation Gregory's Sunsuckers, has been nominated for the 01SJ Prix Green for Environmental Art, which will be awarded at the 2nd Biennial 01SJ Global Festival of Art on the Edge (San Jose, CA, June 4 – 8, 2008). The $ 10,000 award is sponsored by Salas O’Brien Engineers and will be given to an outstanding work of art that creatively uses technology to support or reflect on environmentalism or sustainability.
